KING SHIT Magazine

I was asked to be the guest art director of the VERY first issue of King Shit Magazine. i did a hand full of illustrations that you can see through out the issue as well as my rendition of the King Shit KING for the cover. im not sure how you get your hands on this mag unless you live in canada, but have a look at the King Shit website and enjoy!

キング・シット・マガジン (スケートボード・マガジン)を創刊するにあたって、ゲスト・アート・ディレクターとして招かれた。
表紙のグラフィック(キング・シットキング：俺なりにそのマガジンから解釈して描いたKING)を見てくれれば一目瞭然なんだけど、たくさんのさし絵がぎっしり詰まったいい仕上がりになった。
カナダ以外での入手方法はちょっとわかんないけど、キング・シットのウェブサイトを観て楽しんでくれ！

side note: days after the mag hit the stands, i was emailed this photo of someone with the KING i illustrated tattooed on them! pretty cool!

Thrasher Tattoo...

A friend of a friend got a tattoo of a shirt graphic i made for Thrasher Magazine a while back. he definitely took it over the top!! well done!

友達の友達がタトゥーを刺れたっていうんで、写真を送ってもらった。
そしたらさぁ、この前俺がスラッシャー・マガジンのTシャツ用に描いたグラフィックのアレだったんだよ！
彼は間違いなくトップだね！！おみごと、素晴らしい！

I spend a bit of time at my buddy Marks place, hes got a sketchbook on the coffee table that a lot of his visitors/friends sketch in. from time to time i will draw a little something as well. made this the other day...

俺はよく相棒のマークん家に遊びにいく事が多いんだけど、ヤツん家のコーヒーテーブルの上には、いつもスケッチブックが置いてある。

My good friend Justine is a bit obsessed with the Slow Loris. i dont know how much you know about these things, but they are one of the best animals out! im not going to get TO in depth here. anyhow, this all your really gonna need to know anyhow...

友人のジャスティンは、スローロリスにちょっと取り付かれたように夢中。
みんなは、ロリスについてどれ位知ってるかわからないけどペットとして凄い人気者の一人なんだってさ、俺はそこまでハマんないけど。
いずれにせよこれぐらいは知っておくべき...

when in danger, the Slow Loris can secrete poison goo from its elbows, it then licks the poison goo so that when the Slow Loris bites, it leaves a poison soaked wound. neat huh?!

危険な状況の時に身を守る方法として；
スローロリスは、上腕からベトベトした特殊な毒を分泌してて、それを舐めて唾液とミックスして、噛み付きます....毒だらけの傷跡が残る。素敵でしょ？！
